Our filled epoxy steel strand’s performance meets or exceeds the stringent criteria of GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand,' ensuring top-tier quality and durability.
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Fully compliant with JG 3007 standards, utilizing premium lipid acid-proof carp soap for thickening, deeply refined mineral oil, and enriched with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and anti-corrosion additives to significantly enhance adhesion, water resistance, rust prevention, and anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, there are two predominant international standards for epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E). These standards define two main product types: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The 2002 ASTM standard specifies epoxy-coated filled steel strands while recommending against epoxy-coated steel strands; ISO 14655:1999 (E), based on ASTM A 882/A882M-96, retains the guidelines for epoxy-coated strand products, covering both types.
Due to their exceptional corrosion resistance, epoxy-coated steel strands are subjected to meticulous standards regarding coating thickness and surface pinholes in both ASTM and ISO protocols. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates a coating thickness of 0.38 -1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. IS0 14655:1999 (E) specifies a coating thickness of 0.40-0.90mm for filled steel strands; whereas for epoxy-coated strands, it defines a range of 0.65 -1.15mm.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E) stipulate that the finished epoxy-coated steel strand should be completely free of pinholes throughout its entire length. Our products are meticulously crafted to comply with both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E) standards.
