The performance of our mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand strictly adheres to the high standards set forth in GB/T25823-2010 Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
Our filled epoxy steel strand's performance meets and exceeds the demanding requirements of GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand.'
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Fully compliant with JG 3007. It is meticulously crafted from high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, and fortified with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and anti-corrosion additives. This combination significantly enhances adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion capabilities.
Currently, two prominent international standards govern epoxy-coated steel strands, namely ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards specify two key product types: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The 2002 version of the ASTM standard makes a clear distinction, advising against the use of epoxy-coated steel strands while ISO 14655:1999 (E), derived from ASTM A 882/A882M-96, retains regulations for both types of epoxy-coated strand products.
Epoxy-coated steel strands offer superior corrosion resistance, necessitating stringent standards for coating thickness and the absence of pinholes in both ASTM and ISO guidelines. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a specifies a coating thickness of 0.38-1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) mandates a coating thickness of 0.40-0.90mm for epoxy-coated filled steel strands and 0.65-1.15mm for epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) standards require pinhole-free coatings along the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products proudly meet and surpass these rigorous standards.
