The Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand, a marvel of engineering, is constructed from a seven-wire assembly of low relaxation prestressed steel strands. This design ensures robust performance and unwavering strength. Crafted using hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires renowned for their superior corrosion resistance, this strand significantly extends the lifecycle of components. Ideal for corrosive environments, particularly in coastal areas. Internationally acclaimed, these strands are a highly effective solution for preventing corrosion, widely recognized across the globe for their reliability and performance.
This standard is perfectly suited for a variety of applications including bridge cables, tension parts for building construction, and other prestressed structures. Note: Not directly applicable to concrete grouting constructions. Available in diameters of 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, 17.8mm, and strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860MPa, 1960MPa.
The 1x7, 1x19 configurations of our hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series exemplify strength, with tensile capacities reaching up to 1860MPa. Specifications align seamlessly with plain and round PC steel strands, meeting performance standards according to GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Tailor-made production processes allow for specific zinc coating requests, with capabilities exceeding 250 gsm. Zinc coatings are rigorously uniform, achieving 3-4 times reliability without exposure of copper. Adhesion remains flawless, enduring an 8-circle wind test post-coating without breaking or peeling.
Leveraging advanced equipment, we custom design the galvanizing process to meet unique user specifications, ensuring superior zinc layer and surface quality.
In salt spray tests, uncoated PC steel strands show red rust after just 24 hours, while our galvanized strands stand firm, showcasing the remarkable protective capabilities of our coatings.
