The exceptional performance of the filled epoxy steel strand adheres to the stringent requirements of GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T 737-2009. 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand.'
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Complies with JG 3007, meticulously crafted from high-quality lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other additives, thus boosting adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion properties. 3007. It is made of high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap to thicken deeply refined mineral oil, augmented with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and anti-corrosion additives, which significantly improves the adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion effectiveness of the grease.
Currently, two prestigious international standards govern epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E). A 882/A 882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E). For epoxy-coated steel strands, these standards define two product types: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated strands. The 2002 ASTM standard specifies that epoxy-coated filled steel strands are mandatory and epoxy-coated strands are not recommended. ISO 14655:1999 (E) aligns with ASTM A 882/A 882M-96 and thus maintains the regulations for both product types. A 882/A 882M-96, which thus retains the regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, covering both variants.
Owing to the superior corrosion resistance of epoxy-coated steel strands, both standards strictly regulate coating thickness and surface pinholes. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates a coating thickness of 0.38 - 1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands, while IS0 14655:1999 (E) dictates a thickness range of 0.40-0.90mm for filled strands and 0.65 - 1.15mm for standard strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E) stipulate that finished epoxy-coated steel strands must be free from pinholes along their entire length. Our products fully comply with these international standards, ensuring unmatched quality.
