Introducing our highly sophisticated Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand, a low relaxation prestressed steel strand meticulously crafted from seven robust steel wires. These wires undergo a hot-dip galvanization process, endowing them with exceptional corrosion resistance. This protective feature significantly enhances the longevity of components, especially in harsh and corrosive environments like coastal areas. Our galvanized strands set a benchmark in corrosion prevention both domestically and internationally, earning recognition for their reliability and efficiency.
This versatile product finds its use across a spectrum of applications from bridge cables to tension components in construction. With diameters of 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm, and strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860MPa, and 1960MPa, the strands cater to diverse structural demands while specifically excluding direct use in concrete grouting.
Featuring a 1x7 or 1x19 configuration, our hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series boasts impressive tensile strength levels, reaching up to an astounding 1860MPa. These strands adhere to the same specifications as plain and round PC steel strands with respect to performance levels, meeting rigorous standards like GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Our product is customizable to meet specific zinc coating requirements, achieving coatings of 250 gsm or more. The zinc layer's uniformity is enhanced 3-4 times, ensuring no copper exposure, with excellent adhesion that remains unbroken and intact even after winding 8 circles post-zinc coating.
Harnessing our cutting-edge equipment, we are equipped to tailor the galvanization process to satisfy unique customer demands concerning zinc layer quality and surface finish.
When compared with non-coated PC steel strands, our galvanized versions demonstrate remarkable resilience. The non-coated strands show visible red rust post a 24-hour salt spray test, highlighting the superior corrosion resistance of our product.
The difference in quality becomes even more apparent with sample analysis after a 21-day neutral salt spray test, showcasing the reliability of our galvanized steel strands.
