PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand with low relaxation is a superior-grade prestressed steel strand composed of seven meticulously crafted wires. These hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires boast exceptional corrosion resistance, significantly extending the lifespan of components even in harsh, corrosive environments like coastal areas. This product is globally recognized as one of the most effective methods of corrosion prevention, meeting both current and international standards.
This standard is ideal for bridge cables, fixed tension components, and the tension parts of buildings, among other prestressed structures. Note: It is not recommended for direct use in concrete grouting constructions. Diameter: 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, 17.8mm; Strength Class: 1770MPa, 1860MPa, 1960MPa.
The structural series of 1x7 and 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strands can achieve an impressive tensile strength of up to 1860MPa. They maintain the same performance levels as plain and round PC steel strands per standards such as GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Our product can be tailored to customer requirements for zinc coating, with coatings reaching 250 gsm or higher. The zinc coating layer maintains uniformity 3-4 times without exposing copper, and exhibits excellent adhesion, with no breaks or peeling after winding 8 circles post-coating.
Leveraging our advanced equipment, we meticulously design the galvanization process to meet users' specific requirements for zinc layer quality and surface finish.
In a comparative salt spray test, the non-coated PC steel strand showed red rust within 24 hours, whereas our galvanized PC steel strand remained rust-free.
