Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand is a low relaxation prestressed steel strand crafted from seven hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires, offering exceptional corrosion resistance. This feature significantly prolongs the lifespan of components in corrosive environments like coastal areas, offering unrivaled protection. These strands are internationally recognized as an effective solution for corrosion prevention, standing up to global standards.

Ideal for bridge cables, fixed tension components, lifting or securing tension parts in buildings, and other prestressed structures. Note that it's not suitable for direct use in concrete grouting constructions. Available in diameters of 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm, with strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860MPa, and 1960MPa.

Our 1x7 and 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series exhibit remarkable tensile strength, reaching up to 1860MPa. These specifications are consistent with plain and round PC steel strands in terms of performance levels, adhering to standards such as GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.


Outstanding PRODUCT FEATURES

Our product can be customized to meet customer zinc coating requirements, reaching up to 250 gsm or more. The zinc coating layer's uniformity is 3-4 times without exposing copper, and the adhesion remains intact, not breaking or peeling, even after winding 8 circles post zinc coating.

Leveraging advanced company equipment, we can tailor the galvanizing process to meet specific user requirements regarding zinc layer quality and surface finish.

Compared to uncoated and galvanized PC steel strands, the latter shows red rust after a 24-hour salt spray test.

Observe the changes in PC steel strands without coating and galvanized strands after a 21-day neutral salt spray test.
