PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The performance of our mono-filament epoxy-coated steel strand rigorously adheres to the stringent demands of GB/T25823-2010 standards. Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
Our filled epoxy steel strand performance meets and exceeds the GB/T21073-2007 standard for "Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand" and JT/T regulations. 737-2009 "Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand."
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Complies with JG 3007, utilizing premium lipid acid-proof carp soap to enrich deeply refined mineral oil, enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other additives. This formulation significantly boosts adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, two international standards govern epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards specify two types of products: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated unfilled strands. The 2002 ASTM version emphasizes epoxy-coated filled strands while suggesting against the use of unfilled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) follows ASTM A 882/A882M-96 regulations, thereby maintaining the standards for both types of epoxy-coated strand products.
Due to the exceptional corrosion resistance of epoxy-coated steel strands, both standards enforce rigorous rules on coating thickness and the absence of pinholes. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a specifies a coating thickness range of 0.38 - 1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) dictates that the coating thickness for epoxy-coated filled steel strands should be 0.40 - 0.90mm, and between 0.65 - 1.15mm for unfilled strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) mandate no pinholes throughout the full length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products fully comply with these international standards.
