The 1x7 structure "12.7mm, 15.20mm, 15.70mm, 17.80mm" unbonded prestressed steel strand is an advanced prestressed steel bar encased with anti-corrosion grease and a protective sheath. These products are crucial for water conservancy and hydro-power projects. Recently, with the rise in wind power projects, where the tower heights often reach or exceed 120m, concrete towers utilizing external prestressing technology are increasingly adopting these unbonded prestressed steel strands. The key benefits include excellent corrosion resistance and exceptional fatigue resistance, enhancing wind resistance and significantly extending service life.
In adherence to the JG/T 161-2016 Unbonded Prestressed Steel Strand standard, we have innovatively redesigned the test method for sheath tensile properties. This improvement enhances practicality, facilitates the evaluation of sheath performance, effectively standardizes sheath quality, and ensures the safety and durability of the project.

The unbonded steel strand, used in the outer cable of wind power concrete towers, is designed and produced to meet user-specific technical requirements for sheath and grease thickness. The sheath features a dense and smooth surface, allowing the outline of the steel strand to be visible. It meets high-quality standards, ensuring no air holes, mechanical damage, cracks, or noticeable wrinkles.
