PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The performance of the mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand meets the requirements of GB/T25823-2010 " Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand".
The performance of the filled epoxy steel strand meets the requirements of GB/T21073-2007 "Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand" and JT/T 737-2009 "Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand".
Anti-corrosion grease performance: In line with JG 3007, it is made of high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap to thicken deeply refined mineral oil, add antioxidants, anti-rust agents, anti-corrosion and other additives, which improves the adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance and anti-corrosion of anti-corrosion grease.
At present, there are two international standards for epoxy-coated steel strands, namely ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E). For epoxy-coated steel strands, two kinds of products are specified: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated coated steel strands. In the 2002 version of the ASTM standard, it is important to specify epoxy-coated filled steel strands and epoxy-coated steel strands are not recommended; ISO 14655:1999 (E) is based on ASTM A 882/A882M-96 and therefore retains the regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, i.e. for both products.
Since epoxy-coated steel strands are the product with excellent corrosion resistance, there are strict regulations on coating thickness and pinholes on the surface in both standards. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a specifies a coating thickness of 0.38 -1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. IS0 14655:1999 (E) stipulates that the coating thickness of epoxy-coated filled steel strands is 0.40-0.90mm; The coating thickness of epoxy-coated strands is 0.65 -1.15mm.
ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E) both specify that there shall be no pinholes in the full length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. At the same time, our products meet the requirements for both the two international standards of ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E).
PRODUCT FEATURES
The epoxy-coated steel strands produced by our company have excellent anti-corrosion properties,
1) The gap between steel wires of steel strands is filled by epoxy resin.
2) The epoxy resin coating on the surface of the steel strand with sufficient thickness, and no pinhole in the whole length.
3) The special epoxy resin is firmly bonded with the metal matrix of the steel strand, which extends synchronously and does not crack during and after tensioning.
PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
As a new type of high-performance anti-corrosion prestressed material, epoxy-coated steel strand is widely used in many engineering fields such as cable-stayed cables, partial cable-stayed cables, external cables (including tie cables), internal cables, geotechnical anchorage, etc., in the United States, Europe, Japan, Australia, and other European, American and Asia-Pacific countries and regions.
Our company's 16 cable-stayed cables in Korla Landscape Bridge are extrusion anchor cables made by extrusion technology. The new product 17.8mm epoxy-coated prestressed steel strand produced by our company has been applied to the steel structure project of the dry coal shed of the Dalian Xizhong Island Heating Project, which is also the first project in China to use 17.8mm epoxy-coated prestressed steel strand.
