ISO 14655:1999 (E) is aligned with ASTMA 882/A882M-96, maintaining rigorous guidelines for epoxy-coated strand products, ensuring superior quality across both types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are globally recognized for their extraordinary corrosion resistance, necessitating precise coating thickness and impeccable surface integrity with zero pinholes, as required by both standards.ASTM A 882/A882M-02a specifies a coating thickness range of 0.38 - 1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands, while ISO 14655:1999 (E) stipulates a range of 0.40 - 0.90mm.
