PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The remarkable performance of our mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand adheres strictly to the stringent standards of GB/T25823-2010. Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
Our filled epoxy steel strand meets and exceeds the rigorous specifications of GB/T21073-2007 "Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand" and JT/T. 737-2009 "Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand."
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Complies with JG standard. 3007. This high-grade grease is formulated with lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, and enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other selective additives. This composition significantly improves adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion properties of the grease.
Currently, two notable international standards apply to epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards define two types of epoxy-coated steel strands: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated strands. The ASTM 2002 version specifically mentions that while epoxy-coated filled steel strands are specified, epoxy-coated steel strands are not recommended; ISO 14655:1999 (E) retains the guidelines for both products based on ASTM. A 882/A882M-96, which includes comprehensive regulations for both product types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are celebrated for their superior corrosion resistance, hence both standards enforce strict criteria on coating thickness and pinhole presence on the surface. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates a coating thickness of 0.38 - 1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) specifies the coating thickness for filled steel strands between 0.40 - 0.90mm, and for epoxy-coated strands between 0.65 - 1.15mm.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) insist that there must be no pinholes throughout the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products adhere impeccably to both these international standards.
