PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The performance of the mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand meets the requirements of GB/T25823-2010. Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
The performance of the filled epoxy steel strand meets the requirements of GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand'.
Anti-corrosion grease performance: In line with JG 3007, it is made of high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap to thicken deeply refined mineral oil, add antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other additives. This enhances the adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion properties of the grease.
Currently, there are two international standards for epoxy-coated steel strands, namely ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These define two types of products: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The 2002 ASTM standard specifies the importance and non-recommendation for epoxy-coated filled steel strands and epoxy-coated steel strands, respectively. ISO 14655:1999 (E) follows ASTM A 882/A882M-96, retaining regulations for epoxy-coated strand products for both types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are renowned for their exceptional corrosion resistance. Both standards mandate strict regulations on coating thickness and surface pinholes. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a specifies a coating thickness of 0.38 -1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) stipulates a coating thickness of 0.40-0.90mm for epoxy-coated filled steel strands; the coating thickness for epoxy-coated strands is 0.65 -1.15mm.
ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) both emphasize that there should be no pinholes along the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products meet the stringent requirements of both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) standards.
