PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand features low relaxation and is meticulously crafted from seven high-quality steel wires. These hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires offer exceptional corrosion resistance, significantly extending the lifespan of components in corrosive environments such as coastal regions. Recognized globally as a superior method of corrosion prevention, these strands set the standard both domestically and internationally.
Ideal for bridge cables, tensioning components, and various prestressed structures, this product is not directly used in concrete grouting constructions. Available diameters include 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm, with strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860MPa, and 1960MPa.
Our series of 1x7 and 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strands boast impressive tensile strengths up to 1860MPa. These strands match the specifications and performance levels of plain & round PC steel strands and adhere to standards such as GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Customized zinc coating levels can reach up to 250 gsm or more based on customer requirements. The zinc coating's uniformity is robust, maintaining 3-4 layers without exposing copper, and the adhesion remains intact—even after winding eight circles post-coating.
Leveraging advanced equipment, we tailor the galvanizing process to meet specific user demands for zinc layer and surface quality.
In comparison to uncoated strands, our galvanized PC steel strand showed no red rust even after a 24-hour salt spray test.
Observations of sample changes for uncoated and galvanized PC steel strands after 21 days of neutral salt spray testing.
