ISO 14655:1999 (E) is in alignment with ASTMA 882/A882M-96, upholding rigorous guidelines for epoxy-coated strand products to ensure outstanding quality across both types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are globally recognized for their exceptional corrosion resistance, requiring precise coating thickness and impeccable surface integrity, free of pinholes, as demanded by these stringent standards.ASTM A 882/A882M-02a prescribes a coating thickness range of 0.38 - 1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands, while ISO 14655:1999 (E) specifies a range of 0.40 - 0.90mm.
