PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The performance of the mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand meets the stringent requirements of GB/T25823-2010, ensuring superior quality and reliability. Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
The filled epoxy steel strand complies with the rigorous standards of GB/T21073-2007 "Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand" and JT/T. 737-2009 "Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand."
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Compliant with JG standards. 3007. It is crafted from top-tier lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, enhanced with antioxidants, rust inhibitors, and anti-corrosion additives, offering improved adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and superior anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, there are two primary international standards for epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards specify two types of products: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The ASTM 2002 version details the specifications for these products, emphasizing that epoxy-coated filled steel strands are favored. ISO 14655:1999 (E) mirrors ASTM A 882/A882M-96, maintaining the regulations for both product types. A 882/A882M-96 and therefore retains the regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, i.e., for both products.
Epoxy-coated steel strands, renowned for their exceptional corrosion resistance, must adhere to strict coating thickness and surface pinhole regulations as per both standards. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates a coating thickness of 0.38 -1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) sets the coating thickness at 0.40-0.90mm for epoxy-coated filled steel strands and 0.65 -1.15mm for epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) stipulate there must be no pinholes along the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products meet the stringent requirements of these international standards.
