The filled epoxy steel strand's performance aligns perfectly with the high standards of GB/T21073-2007 "Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand" and JT/T 737-2009 "Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand," providing exceptional durability and strength.
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Complies with JG 3007, crafted from high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, and enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and anti-corrosion additives, significantly boosting adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, two international standards exist for epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E). These standards specify two product types: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated coated steel strands. According to the 2002 ASTM standard version, epoxy-coated filled steel strands are essential; while purely epoxy-coated strands are not recommended. The ISO 14655:1999 (E) standard, based on ASTM A 882/A882M-96, retains comprehensive regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, ensuring both types meet high-quality standards.
With superior corrosion resistance, epoxy-coated steel strands must meet strict regulations on coating thickness and surface pinholes as per both standards. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates a coating thickness of 0.38-1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands, while IS0 14655:1999 (E) requires 0.40-0.90mm; for epoxy-coated strands, a thickness of 0.65-1.15mm.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E) stipulate that no pinholes should be present throughout the full length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products meet these rigorous standards, ensuring unmatched quality and performance.
