Our mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand boasts performance that adheres to the stringent GB/T25823-2010 standards. Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
The filled epoxy steel strand we offer meets the rigorous standards of GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T. 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand'.
Anti-Corrosion Grease Performance: In compliance with JG. 3007, our grease is crafted from high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap to thicken deeply refined mineral oil, infused with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other additives. This formulation enhances adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and corrosion protection.
Currently, there are two international standards for epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM. A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards specify two types of epoxy-coated products: filled strands and coated steel strands. The 2002 ASTM standard highlights that epoxy-coated filled steel strands and epoxy-coated steel strands are not recommended, whereas ISO 14655:1999 (E) retains regulations for both product types. A 882/A882M-96 and thus maintains the regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, encompassing both types.
Given the exceptional corrosion resistance of epoxy-coated steel strands, both standards enforce strict regulations regarding coating thickness and pinholes on their surface. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a specifies a coating thickness of 0.38-1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) stipulates a coating thickness of 0.40-0.90mm for filled steel strands; the coating thickness for epoxy-coated strands is 0.65-1.15mm.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) mandate that there should be no pinholes throughout the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products meet these exacting standards.
