PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

The Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand is a low relaxation prestressed steel strand, meticulously crafted from seven steel wires, each hot-dipped in galvanization for enhanced performance. These strands, made from corrosion-resistant round steel wires, are specifically designed to significantly prolong the lifespan of components, especially in harsh, corrosive environments like coastal areas. This product stands recognized internationally as a superior solution for corrosion prevention, embraced across various sectors.

This standard is applicable to an array of prestressed structures including bridge cables, fixed tension components, and the tension parts of buildings. It is not intended for direct use in concrete grouting. Available in diameters of 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm, with strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860MPa, and 1960MPa.

Our 1x7, 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series boast impressive tensile strengths reaching up to 1860MPa. These products maintain the same specifications as plain & round PC steel strands, aligning with performance levels according to GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035 standards.


PRODUCT FEATURES

We offer customization based on customer zinc coating requirements, with coatings reaching 250 gsm or more. The zinc coating's uniformity is exceptional, exhibiting 3-4 times the typical coverage without copper exposure, ensuring robust adhesion that resists breaking or peeling after winding.

Equipped with advanced technology, we can tailor the galvanization process to meet stringent user specifications for zinc layer and surface quality.

Comparatively, uncoated PC steel strands display red rust post a 24-hour salt spray test, whereas our galvanized strands maintain their integrity.

Displayed are the sample transformations of uncoated and galvanized PC steel strands following a rigorous 21-day neutral salt spray test.
