PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand features low relaxation prestressed steel strands, meticulously crafted from seven high-quality steel wires. Each wire is hot-dipped galvanized, offering superior corrosion resistance, crucial for extending the lifespan of components, especially in corrosive environments like coastal areas. Internationally recognized, these wires serve as a highly effective corrosion prevention solution.
Ideal for bridge cables, fixed tension components, and other prestressed structures, these strands are not used for direct concrete grouting. Available diameters: 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, 17.8mm. Strength classes: 1770MPa, 1860MPa, 1960MPa.
Our product range includes the 1x7 and 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strands, boasting tensile strengths up to 1860MPa. These strands maintain the same performance levels as plain & round PC steel strands, complying with standards such as GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Customized zinc coating thickness as per customer requests, with coatings reaching 250 gsm or more. The uniform zinc coating layer withstands multiple windings without exposure or peeling.
Leveraging our advanced equipment, we tailor the galvanization process to meet specific requirements for zinc layer quality and surface finish.
Compared to non-coated PC steel strands, our galvanized strands exhibit significantly less rust after a 24-hour salt spray test.
Observations of PC steel strand samples, both coated and uncoated, after 21 days of neutral salt spray testing.
