The performance of our filled epoxy steel strand complies impeccably with GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T 737-2009. 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand.'
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Adheres to JG 3007 standards. Our anti-corrosion grease is crafted from high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, and enriched with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other additives. This composition significantly enhances adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and overall anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, two international standards govern epoxy-coated steel strands, notably ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards specify two types of products: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The 2002 ASTM version distinguishes epoxy-coated filled steel strands and does not recommend epoxy-coated steel strands. Meanwhile, ISO 14655:1999 (E) mirrors ASTM A 882/A882M-96, maintaining regulations for both epoxy-coated strand products. A 882/A882M-96 and thus, retains the regulations for both epoxy-coated strand products.
Owing to their superior corrosion resistance, strict regulations on coating thickness and pinholes apply to epoxy-coated steel strands in both standards. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a specifies a coating thickness range of 0.38 -1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) mandates a coating thickness of 0.40-0.90mm for filled strands and 0.65 -1.15mm for standard epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) stipulate that the finished epoxy-coated steel strand must be devoid of pinholes throughout its entire length. Our products fully satisfy these rigorous standards.
