Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand, renowned for its low relaxation and high strength, is meticulously crafted from seven high-quality steel wires. Each strand is hot-dipped galvanized, offering exceptional corrosion resistance and significantly enhancing the longevity of components in corrosive environments like coastal areas. This technology is internationally recognized as a premier method for corrosion prevention, ensuring durability and reliability.

Our standard applies to a variety of prestressed structures including bridge cables, fixed tension components, and lifting parts of buildings. This high-performance product is not for direct use in concrete grouting constructions. Available diameters: 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, 17.8mm; Strength classes: 1770MPa, 1860MPa, 1960MPa.

We offer a range of hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strands, including 1x7 and 1x19 structures, with tensile strengths up to 1860MPa. These strands conform to the same specifications and performance levels as plain and round PC steel strands according to standards like GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.


PRODUCT FEATURES

Tailored to customer requirements, our zinc coating can achieve up to 250 gsm or higher. The zinc coating uniformly adheres without exposure, maintaining integrity even after being wound into 8 circles.

Leveraging our advanced equipment, we can customize the galvanizing process to meet specific zinc layer and surface quality needs.

In comparison tests, uncoated and galvanized PC strands showed significant differences, with the former displaying red rust after just 24 hours of salt spray exposure.

Observations of PC steel strands without coating and galvanized strands after 21 days of a neutral salt spray test reveal marked improvements.
