Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand with low relaxation is meticulously crafted from seven high-strength steel wires. These hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires offer exceptional corrosion resistance, ensuring the longevity of components even in harsh corrosive environments such as coastal areas. Recognized both nationally and internationally, our product is celebrated for its superior corrosion prevention capabilities.
This standard is perfect for bridge cables, fixed tension components, and lifting or fixing tension parts in buildings and other prestressed structures. It is not intended for direct use in concrete grouting constructions. Available diameters: 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, 17.8mm. Strength classes: 1770MPa, 1860MPa, 1960MPa.
Our 1x7 and 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series boast tensile strengths up to 1860MPa. Our products share identical specifications as plain & round PC steel strands, adhering to performance levels defined by GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
Product Features
Produced to meet customer specifications, our zinc coating can reach 250 gsm or more. The zinc layer's uniformity is 3-4 times without any copper exposure, ensuring robust adhesion that remains intact even after winding 8 circles post-coating.
Leveraging our state-of-the-art equipment, we customize the galvanization process to satisfy special requirements for zinc layer quality and surface finish.
Compared to uncoated PC steel strands, our galvanized PC strands exhibit superior performance, with the former showing red rust after a 24-hour salt spray test.
