The filled epoxy steel strand we offer is meticulously crafted to exceed the standards set by GB/T21073-2007, 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand,' and JT/T 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand,' guaranteeing outstanding durability and performance.
Our advanced anti-corrosion grease is designed to perfection, aligning with JG 3007 standards. It is expertly formulated with high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, and enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other additives to provide exceptional adhesion, water resistance, rust, and corrosion protection.
Currently, two key international standards define the quality of epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards outline two product types: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The 2002 ASTM standard emphasizes epoxy-coated filled steel strands, whereas ISO 14655:1999 (E) continues to uphold these specifications with precision and consistency. The ASTM A 882/A882M-96 standard is the foundation of ISO 14655:1999 (E), carrying forward the regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, ensuring top-tier quality for both.
Recognized for their unparalleled corrosion resistance, epoxy-coated steel strands demand rigorous adherence to prescribed coating thickness and pinhole-free surfaces under both standards. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a prescribes a coating thickness range of 0.38 - 1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. Meanwhile, ISO 14655:1999 (E) mandates a thickness between 0.40-0.90mm for filled steel strands and 0.65 - 1.15mm for coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) standards strictly require epoxy-coated steel strands to be entirely free of pinholes along their entire length. Our products flawlessly meet the rigorous criteria of these international benchmarks, ensuring premium quality and reliability.
