Product Description
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand with low relaxation is a high-performance prestressed steel strand, meticulously crafted from seven steel wires. Featuring premium hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires, this product boasts excellent corrosion resistance, significantly prolonging the lifespan of components in corrosive environments such as coastal areas. Recognized both domestically and internationally, our galvanized strands are a highly effective solution for corrosion prevention.
This product is ideal for bridge cables, fixed tension components, lifting or fixing tension parts of buildings, and other prestressed structures. Note: It is not designed for direct use in concrete grouting constructions. Available in diameters: 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, 17.8mm. Strength classes: 1770MPa, 1860 MPa, 1960MPa.
The 1x7 and 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series offer tensile strengths up to 1860MPa, meeting the same specifications as plain and round PC steel strands in terms of performance, adhering to standards like GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
PRODUCT FEATURES
We can customize the zinc coating according to customer specifications, achieving 250 gsm or higher. The uniform zinc coating is 3-4 times thicker, ensuring no copper exposure. The coating remains intact and does not peel, even after 8 windings.
Leveraging our advanced equipment, we can tailor the galvanization process to meet specific requirements for zinc layer quality and surface finish.
In contrast to non-coated PC steel strands, our galvanized PC steel strands show no red rust even after a 24-hour salt spray test.
Observation of PC steel strands with and without coating after a 21-day neutral salt spray test demonstrates superior corrosion resistance of the galvanized variant.
