The performance of the mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand meets the stringent standards of GB/T25823-2010. Mono-filament Coated Epoxy-Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
The performance of the filled epoxy steel strand complies with the rigorous standards of GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T. 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand'.
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Complies with JG. 3007. It is crafted from high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap, thickened with deeply refined mineral oil, enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and corrosion inhibitors. This formulation significantly boosts adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and overall anti-corrosion performance.
Currently, two international standards govern epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM. A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards delineate two product types: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. While ASTM A 882/A882M-02a outlines specifics for epoxy-coated filled steel strands, ISO 14655:1999 (E), derived from ASTM A 882/A882M-96, maintains regulations for both product types. ASTM A 882/A882M-96 retains the standards for epoxy-coated strand products, encompassing both types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands boast exceptional corrosion resistance, leading both standards to impose stringent coating thickness and surface pinhole regulations. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a specifies a coating thickness ranging from 0.38-1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) stipulates a thickness of 0.40-0.90mm for epoxy-coated filled steel strands and 0.65-1.15mm for epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) mandate a flawless, pinhole-free coating along the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products meet and exceed these rigorous international standards.
