Our filled epoxy steel strand is crafted to flawlessly comply with the stringent demands of GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand,' guaranteeing superior performance.
The anti-corrosion grease performance is meticulously aligned with JG 3007, featuring high-grade lipid acid-proof carboxylate soap that thickens refined mineral oil. Enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and anti-corrosion additives, it significantly boosts adhesion, water resistance, and rust prevention.
Presently, two prestigious international standards govern epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E). These standards distinctly define two product categories: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The ASTM 2002 update advises against epoxy-coated strands, whereas ISO 14655:1999 (E) follows the guidelines from ASTM A 882/A882M-96, maintaining regulations for epoxy-coated strand products for both types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are renowned for their exceptional corrosion resistance, with both standards imposing strict guidelines on coating thickness and pinhole absence. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a prescribes a coating thickness range of 0.38 -1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. IS0 14655:1999 (E) delineates a range of 0.40-0.90mm for filled strands and 0.65 -1.15mm for general epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E) mandate that no pinholes should be present along the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products proudly meet the rigorous standards of both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E).
