PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The performance of our mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand adheres to the rigorous standards of GB/T25823-2010. Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
Our filled epoxy steel strands comply with the high standards set by GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T. 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand'.
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Fully compliant with JG 3007. Our grease is formulated using premium lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, and enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and anti-corrosion additives to vastly improve adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and overall anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, two international standards guide our epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards define two product categories: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The 2002 ASTM standard emphasizes epoxy-coated filled steel strands while noting that epoxy-coated steel strands are not recommended. ISO 14655:1999 (E), derived from ASTM A 882/A882M-96, therefore, retains these regulations for epoxy-coated strand products.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are renowned for their outstanding corrosion resistance, necessitating stringent regulations on coating thickness and surface pinholes in both standards. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates a coating thickness of 0.38 -1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) stipulates a coating thickness of 0.40-0.90mm for epoxy-coated filled steel strands, and 0.65 -1.15mm for epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) standards insist that no pinholes should be present along the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products meet these high standards, ensuring impeccable quality.
