Our filled epoxy steel strand surpasses the performance criteria set by GB/T21073-2007 "Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand" and JT/T 737-2009 "Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand," providing unmatched durability and strength.
Anti-corrosion grease performance adheres to JG 3007 standards, crafted from premium lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, and fortified with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and corrosion inhibitors, enhancing its adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and overall anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, two global standards govern epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E). These standards define two product categories: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The ASTM standard's 2002 edition emphasizes epoxy-coated filled steel strands while not recommending regular epoxy-coated steel strands; ISO 14655:1999 (E), derived from ASTM A 882/A882M-96, maintains comprehensive guidelines for epoxy-coated strand products, thereby covering both product types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are renowned for their exceptional corrosion resistance, which is why both standards enforce stringent coating thickness and surface pinhole criteria. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates an epoxy-coated filled strand coating thickness of 0.38 -1.14mm. ISO 14655:1999 (E) requires a thickness range of 0.40-0.90mm for filled strands and 0.65 -1.15mm for standard epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) dictate that epoxy-coated steel strands must be free of pinholes over their entire length. Our products exceed these stringent requirements, adhering to both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) standards.
