Currently, the epoxy-coated steel strands are governed by two premier international standards: ASTM.A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards define two critical variations: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The 2002 revision of the ASTM standard highlights the significance of the epoxy-coated filled steel strands, cautioning against using plain epoxy-coated steel strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) seamlessly aligns with ASTM.A 882/A882M-96, maintaining rigorous guidelines for epoxy-coated strand products, guaranteeing superior quality across both types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are globally recognized for their exceptional corrosion resistance.
