PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand with low relaxation properties is expertly crafted from seven steel wires. These wires are hot-dipped galvanized to provide exceptional corrosion resistance, significantly prolonging the lifespan of components even in highly corrosive environments such as coastal areas. Such galvanization is internationally acclaimed and recognized as an effective method for preventing corrosion.
This premium product is ideal for bridge cables, fixed tension components, lifting or fixing tension parts of buildings, and other prestressed structures. It is not designed for direct use in concrete grouting constructions. Available diameters include 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm. Strength classes: 1770MPa, 1860MPa, 1960MPa.
Featuring structures of 1x7 and 1x19, the hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series boasts tensile strengths of up to 1860MPa. The product meets the specifications of plain and round PC steel strands in performance levels according to GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035 standards.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Customized production is available to meet specific zinc coating requests. Zinc coatings can achieve levels of 250 gsm or higher, ensuring 3-4 times uniformity without copper exposure. The adhesion remains intact without breaking or peeling even after being wound 8 times post-coating.
Leveraging our state-of-the-art equipment, we tailor the galvanization process to fulfill unique requirements for zinc layer quality and surface integrity.
When compared to uncoated PC steel strand and standard galvanized PC steel strand, the latter exhibits red rust after just 24 hours of a salt spray test.
Detailed results show the changes in PC steel strand samples, both uncoated and galvanized, after 21 days of neutral salt spray testing.
