The cold drawing wire serves as an integral component directly used for prestressed concrete applications after undergoing the cold drawing process.


Raw Material Requirements

The cornerstone of manufacturing prestressed concrete lies in utilizing high-quality carbon steel wire rods such as SWRH77B or SWRH82B. These wire rods must adhere to stringent requirements encompassing size, shape, weight, and permissible deviations. Essential attributes also include grade, precise chemical composition, smelting techniques, state of delivery, mechanical properties, decarbonization layer, micro-structure, surface quality, and any bespoke specifications or requirements.
Cooling is meticulously regulated using advanced Sterem technology, ensuring an impressive Sotenization rate of over 85%. Typically, the coils produced through this meticulous process are more than adequate to meet the rigorous production demands of prestressed concrete steel wire and steel strand.
