ISO 14655:1999 (E) is in alignment with ASTMA 882/A882M-96, maintaining rigorous standards for epoxy-coated strand products, guaranteeing unparalleled quality across both types.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are globally recognized for their exceptional corrosion resistance, requiring precise coating thickness and impeccable surface integrity with zero pinholes, as mandated by both standards.ASTM A 882/A882M-02a prescribes a coating thickness range of 0.38 - 1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands, while ISO 14655:1999 (E) mandates a range of 0.40 - 0.90mm.
