PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand is a marvel of engineering, crafted for low relaxation prestressed structures. Composed of seven carefully interwoven steel wires, it boasts exceptional durability and strength. These hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires are celebrated for their remarkable corrosion resistance, significantly prolonging the lifespan of components in corrosive environments like coastal areas. This technology is widely acknowledged both nationally and internationally as a top-tier solution for corrosion prevention.
Applicable to bridge cables, tension components, and prestressed structures, our strands have diameters of 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm, available in strength classes 1770MPa, 1860MPa, and 1960MPa.
Our series includes 1x7 and 1x19 configurations, able to achieve tensile strengths reaching up to 1860MPa, ensuring unmatched performance. The specifications match those of plain & round PC steel strands, conforming to standards like GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035, ensuring international reliability.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Our strands can be tailored to customer zinc coating specifications, with coatings of 250 gsm or more. The zinc layer maintains uniformity and stays intact even after rigorous testing, such as winding 8 circles post-coating without peeling or breaking.
Thanks to advanced equipment, we can customize the galvanizing process to meet unique requirements for zinc layer quality and surface excellence.
In comparison, non-coated PC steel strands show red rust after just 24 hours of salt spray testing, showcasing the superiority of our galvanized options.
Our galvanized PC steel strands and non-coated counterparts were tested for 21 days in a neutral salt spray, revealing significant differences in durability.
