PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand for prestressing concrete solutions is an advanced, low relaxation prestressed steel strand crafted from seven meticulously hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires. These wires offer exceptional corrosion resistance, significantly extending the lifespan of components in corrosive environments such as coastal areas. Globally recognized, this method stands as an effective solution for corrosion prevention, both currently and internationally.
This standard is applicable to bridge cables, fixed tension components, lifting or fixing tension parts of buildings, and other prestressed structures. It is not directly used in concrete grouting constructions. Available diameters are 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, 17.8mm, with strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860MPa, and 1960MPa.
The 1x7, 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series boasts impressive tensile strength, reaching up to 1860MPa. These specifications align seamlessly with plain & round PC steel strand performance levels as per GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035 standards.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Our product can be customized according to customer zinc coating requirements, with a coating thickness reaching 250 gsm or higher. The coating's uniformity is 3-4 times without exposing copper, maintaining strong adhesion that does not break or peel even after winding 8 circles post-coating.
Leveraging our state-of-the-art equipment, we tailor the galvanization process to meet specific user requirements regarding zinc layer quality and surface finish.
Compared to non-coated and galvanized PC steel strands, the latter demonstrates superior performance by resisting red rust after a 24-hour salt spray test.
Observe the differences in PC steel strands with and without coating after undergoing a 21-day neutral salt spray test.
