PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand with low relaxation is a masterfully engineered prestressed steel strand, crafted with precision from seven hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires. These wires boast exceptional corrosion resistance, significantly extending the lifespan of components in harsh, corrosive environments such as coastal areas. This product is globally recognized as a highly effective solution for corrosion prevention, meeting both current and international standards.
This versatile standard is ideal for a wide range of applications, including bridge cables, fixed tension components, and lifting elements in buildings. The strands are not directly used in concrete grouting constructions. Available in diameters of 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm, they offer impressive strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860 MPa, and 1960MPa.
Our 1x7 and 1x19 structures of hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series boast a remarkable tensile strength reaching up to 1860MPa. These strands maintain identical specifications to plain & round PC steel strands, with performance levels adhering to standards such as GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
PRODUCT FEATURES
With customizable zinc coating as per customer requests, our products achieve zinc coatings of 250 gsm or higher. The uniformity is maintained at 3-4 times without copper exposure, and the adhesion remains intact without breaking or peeling, even after winding into 8 circles post-coating.
Leveraging state-of-the-art equipment, we tailor the galvanizing process to meet unique customer demands for zinc layer quality and surface finish.
In comparison tests, uncoated PC steel strands developed red rust after only 24 hours of salt spray exposure, unlike our superior galvanized strands.
After 21 days in a neutral salt spray test, significant differences are evident between uncoated and galvanized PC steel strands.
