Our filled epoxy steel strand is meticulously designed to meet the comprehensive requirements of GB/T21073-2007, titled 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand,' as well as JT/T, 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand.'
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Fully compliant with JG 3007. Our anti-corrosion grease is formulated using high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap, deeply refined mineral oil, and enhanced with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other additives. This formulation significantly improves adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and overall anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, there are two pivotal international standards for epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards specify two types of products: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The 2002 ASTM standard emphasizes that epoxy-coated filled strands are vital while recommending against epoxy-coated steel strands; ISO 14655:1999 (E) follows ASTM A 882/A882M-96 and maintains the necessary regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, encompassing both types.
Due to the exceptional corrosion resistance of epoxy-coated steel strands, both ASTM and ISO standards impose stringent regulations on coating thickness and surface pinholes. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates a coating thickness of 0.38-1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) stipulates the coating thickness should be 0.40-0.90mm for filled strands and 0.65-1.15mm for epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) require that there be no pinholes along the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products meet the rigorous requirements of both these international standards.
