PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The performance of the mono-filament sprayed epoxy steel strand meets the stringent requirements set forth in GB/T25823-2010. Mono-filament Coated Epoxy Coated Prestressed Steel Strand.
The performance of the filled epoxy steel strand adheres to the high standards of GB/T21073-2007 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand'.
Anti-corrosion grease performance: In compliance with JG 3007, it is formulated with high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap to thicken deeply refined mineral oil, and is enriched with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and anti-corrosion additives, enhancing adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion properties of the grease.
Currently, there are two international standards for epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E). These standards specify two types of products: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated coated steel strands. According to the 2002 version of the ASTM standard, it is crucial to specify epoxy-coated filled steel strands, while epoxy-coated steel strands are not recommended; ISO 14655:1999 (E) is based on ASTM A 882/A882M-96 and maintains the regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, covering both types.
Given the superior corrosion resistance of epoxy-coated steel strands, both standards impose strict regulations on coating thickness and pinholes on the surface. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a defines a coating thickness range of 0.38 -1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) establishes a coating thickness range of 0.40-0.90mm for epoxy-coated filled steel strands, and 0.65 -1.15mm for epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) specify that no pinholes should be present throughout the entire length of the epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products fully comply with these rigorous international standards.
