PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand with low relaxation is crafted from seven superior-grade steel wires. These hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires boast exceptional corrosion resistance, significantly extending component life even in highly corrosive environments like coastal areas. Widely recognized both domestically and internationally, these strands are an effective solution for corrosion prevention.
This standard is optimized for bridge cables, fixed tension components, and lifting tension parts of buildings in prestressed structures, not meant for direct use in concrete grouting constructions. Available diameters include 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, 17.8mm, with strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860MPa, and 1960MPa.
The 1x7 and 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series boast tensile strengths reaching up to 1860MPa. They maintain the same specifications as plain and round PC steel strands in performance levels, conforming to GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, NFA35-035, and other standards.
PRODUCT FEATURES
We can customize zinc coating thickness per customer requests, achieving 250 gsm or more. The zinc layer's uniformity is 3-4 times standard without exposing copper, and it maintains adhesion without breaking or peeling when wound into 8 circles post-coating.
With our advanced equipment, we tailor the galvanizing process to meet special requirements for zinc layer quality and surface quality.
Compared to uncoated and galvanized PC steel strand, the former shows red rust after a 24-hour salt spray test.
Observe changes in uncoated and galvanized PC steel strands after 21 days of neutral salt spray testing.
