PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized PC Strand features low relaxation prestressed steel, meticulously crafted from seven high-quality steel wires. These hot-dipped galvanized round steel wires exhibit superior corrosion resistance, effectively prolonging the lifespan of components even in harsh, corrosive environments, including coastal areas. Recognized globally as a premier form of corrosion prevention, our products stand out in both current and international markets.
This product is ideal for bridge cables, fixed tension components, building tension parts, and other prestressed structures. Notably, it is not intended for direct use in concrete grouting constructions. Specifications include diameters of 12.7mm, 15.00mm, 15.7mm, and 17.8mm, with strength classes of 1770MPa, 1860MPa, and 1960MPa.
The 1x7 and 1x19 hot-dipped galvanized prestressed steel strand series offer tensile strengths reaching up to 1860MPa, matching the performance levels of plain and round PC steel strands as specified by standards like GB/T 33363, ASTM A416, EN10138, BS5896, and NFA35-035.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Our products can be customized to meet specific zinc coating requirements, achieving zinc coatings of 250 gsm or more. The uniformity and adhesion of the zinc coating layer are exceptional, enduring up to 3-4 times without exposing copper and remaining intact even when wound into 8 circles post-coating.
Leveraging our state-of-the-art equipment, we can tailor the galvanizing process to meet unique user specifications for zinc layer quality and surface finish.
In comparison tests, PC steel strands without coating developed red rust after just 24 hours in a salt spray test, highlighting the superior corrosion resistance of our galvanized products.
Observations from a 21-day neutral salt spray test show significant differences between uncoated and galvanized PC steel strands.
