The filled epoxy steel strand's performance strictly adheres to the GB/T21073-2007 standard for 'Epoxy Coated Seven Wire Prestressed Steel Strand' and JT/T737-2009 for 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand.' 737-2009 'Filled Epoxy Coated Steel Strand.'
Anti-corrosion grease performance: Complies with JG3007. Crafted from high-grade lipid acid-proof carp soap and deeply refined mineral oil, our anti-corrosion grease is fortified with antioxidants, anti-rust agents, and other additives. This enhances its adhesion, water resistance, rust resistance, and anti-corrosion properties.
Currently, there are two prominent international standards for epoxy-coated steel strands: ASTM A882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E). ASTM A 882/A882M-02a and IS0 14655:1999 (E) specify two product types: epoxy-coated filled strands and epoxy-coated steel strands. The ASTM 2002 version emphasizes epoxy-coated filled steel strands while ISO 14655:1999 (E), based on ASTM A882/A882M-96, maintains regulations for both product types. A 882/A882M-96 and therefore retains the regulations for epoxy-coated strand products, i.e. for both products.
Epoxy-coated steel strands are renowned for their superb corrosion resistance, thus both standards impose strict requirements on coating thickness and pinhole presence on the surface. ASTM A 882/A 882M-02a mandates a coating thickness of 0.38-1.14mm for epoxy-coated filled strands. ISO 14655:1999 (E) requires a coating thickness of 0.40-0.90mm for epoxy-coated filled strands and 0.65-1.15mm for epoxy-coated strands.
Both ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999 (E) state that there should be no pinholes throughout the entire length of the finished epoxy-coated steel strand. Our products meet all these stringent requirements.
